Only the few people living in La Graciosa or those in a day trip from Lanzarote can enjoy this paradise, with kilometers of shore that alternates beaches and rocky areas. This beach on the south coast is one of the preferred by tourists, but this does not mean that it is not deserted most of the day. Only the excursions that
land here in the morning change this.

To get to La Graciosa island you have to take the ferry that connects Orzola, in the north coast of Lanzarote, with Caleta de Sebo, the only inhabited town in La Graciosa. It only takes 20 minutes.
La Francesa beach is west of the harbour. There is not any road in the island, so you can only get there on foot (a nice 40 minutes walk), by bike (15 minutes), or taking one of the few 4WD taxis in the island.

The beach
It is a long stretch of goldend sand divided in several sections by rocks that continue under the water. A perfect place for diving or swimming.
Not many people here, specially in the far end coming from the town. You can find there small round walls made of stones, so typical in the Canaries. They are not very necessary here, since usually wind is not very strong.

Facilities
Nothing at all. Take with you all you need.
Nudism
You can even make naked part of the way to La Francesa. As soon as you leave the town, you will find a mixture of nudists and textiles sunbathing. In this beach, the right half is overwhlemingly used by nudists.
